Peter holds himself and his writing to the highest possible standards drawing upon legal, ethical and best practice advice from a range of sources. When he writes, he holds himself to the code below. It uses as it's basis the Editors' Code as drawn up an by the Editors' Code of Practice  Committee. This is the most common code of journalistic standards and the one used by Ipso (the Independent Press Standards Organisation) and the Independent Monitor for the Press (IMPRESS).

Peter is not a member of either Ipso or IMPRESS and therefore am not subject to their complaints or arbitration procedures. The people he writes for however might be a member of one of them.
