Terms and Conditions of Attendance and Appearances at Events.

Peter is delighted to go to hundreds of events every year. He attends events for a range of reasons, in a range of locations, and with a range of people. To make attendance and appearances simpler for everyone involved, all such attendances are organised in accordance with the following terms. Any deviation from these standard terms should be noted in writing and agreed by everyone involved.

  1. Peter will make every effort to honour all agreements he has made to appear at events. In some circumstances this may not be possible. Where he is unable to keep a commitment to attend an event, Peter will give the organiser(s) as much notice as possible and, where appropriate and desired, will endeavour to find someone to attend on his behalf. If payment has been made to Peter, The Peter Marcus Company Limited, or The Peter Marcus Foundation for Peter’s attendance, refunds will be issued subject to and in accordance with the refunds policy.

  2. In the organiser(s) need or wish to cancel the event or Peter’s attendance at it they should give as much notice as possible. The organiser(s) may still be liable to pay some or all of any amount agreed to either Peter, The Peter Marcus Company Limited, or The Peter Marcus Foundation. This may also include associated costs such as travel and accommodation.

  3. Peter reserves the right to refuse to attend or appear at any event for any or no reason.

  4. Peter will not normally attend or appear at any event which promotes, supports, or endorses a political view which opposes his own.

  5. Peter will not normally attend events which are not open to people of all sexes and genders. Peter will attend Girlguiding events in relation to his work with The Scouts.

  6. You may promote Peter’s attendance or appearance at your event unless told otherwise. Pictures, social media information and quotes are available from your designated contact or from Peter’s office.

  7. Unless otherwise agreed Peter is under no obligation to promote his attendance or appearance at your event. However, if you would like him to, it is helpful to supply your designated contact or Peter’s office with a logo, social media information, and any other relevant information.

  8. Peter should be made aware of any security and parking arrangements at least seven days in advance of the event.

  9. Peter should be made aware of any requirements regarding dress code, equipment, and planned activities at least seven days in advance of the event.
